Description

Scientific basis:
The scientific basis for the Back-check® was developed with the support of the Institute for Prevention and Aftercare. As part of a study, sports scientists collected reference data for trunk flexion/extension.

The key study results summarized:
There is a correlation between extensors and flexors. Trunk extensors are stronger than flexors in healthy individuals. Back patients are characterized by significantly lower maximum trunk extensor strength compared to individuals without back problems. After a course of therapy consisting of 5–10 training sessions, significantly higher strength values ​​of the back muscles were recorded.
